Booz & Company is focused on commercial strategy consulting. Founded in 1914 by Edwin Booz, Booz & Company is owned by approximately 260 officers. Booz & Company has 61 offices around 34 countries and its clients include 75 of the world's 100 largest corporations.

Booz & Company sold its public sector business, Booz Allen Hamilton in 2008. Booz & Company undertake the entirety of its commercial consulting business as well as all consulting operations with government entitites outside the USA. Booz Allen Hamilton on the other hand works only on U.S. government consulting matters. Note that both companies collaborate on certain projects from time to time, however the non-compete agreement is going to end in the latter part of 2011, allowing Booz & Company to
return to the U.S. Government market. Booz & Company recently acquired Katzenbach Partners.

Undergraduate degree hires typically enter Booz & Company’s business as Consultants. They receive extensive training to develop the analytical and core business skills required to become powerful contributors to client projects.

The amount of undergraduate degree holders that Booz & Company recruits is minimal. You should only apply if you have outstanding credentials. Booz & Company normally recruit from the worlds top business schools; INSEAD, LBS etcetera.


Application


The Booz & Company recruitment process consists of two rounds of interviews.

  • First round interviews:
Your first round will compromise two interview with 2 Booz & Company consultants. The first interview lasts for 45-60minutes and will be a discussion about you; your CV, educational and work background etcetera. The second interview is a case study, this could be a formal case study or it may alternatively be an experience based discussion. You can gain more information

In both interviews you will have the chance to ask questions.

  • Second round interviews:
If you successfully pass your first round interview you will be invited for to the next interview round within 48 hours. The interview are exactly the same as in the first round.

You will be notified of the outcome of your application within 2 days of your final round. You have the chance to ask for detailed feedback on your application if you attend an interview.
